High Society on the podium at the Colorado Freeride Series

Snowmass hosted the annual Colorado Freeride Series Competition over the weekend.  Skier Jason Brown had a great run that landed him on the podium in second place.  The crowd loved both his runs over the weekend.  On the snowboard side, HS riders Riley Gessele finished in first place and Kaelin Bamford stompped his run for second.  Our good friends at SuperHumanMag.com have all the video footage from the event, check it out here: [ski | snowboard].

The lifts are closed but it’s still snowing in Aspen.

Some of the team including skier Jay Brown hit up Mt. Hayden last weekend for some late-season turns.  This pic was taken at about 13,000 feet.

Colorado Freeride Series

Last weekend Snowmass Village was host to the Colorado Freeride Series Event. Sunny skis and plenty of snow made for some great skiing and snowboarding. The HS team was out in full force with skiers Jay Brown, Brian Anzini and Jonathan Mika all moving on to the finals on Saturday. On the snowboard side, Wallace Westfeldt ended up on the podium with a solid 3rd place finish.
